PROMARK provides project management services as part of a total package of design, fabrication and installation. This might include research for historical accuracy, site measure verification, making of on-site molds of existing elements for duplication, drawing and pattern making services, specification and procurement of materials, coordination with contracting or subcontracted companies who make and install the finished product, and supervision of assembly, finishing processes and installation.
As a subcontracted company with Deggingers' Foundry, we have considerable experience in the field of historical restoration as well as new construction, including the following:
Cast elements for the restoration of the Reliance Building, Chicago
Creation of a bronze door for a villa in Saudi Arabia
Restoration of a marquee on Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia
Replication of the moat guard rail, Old Post Office, St. Louis
A fabricated aluminum buffet canopy, Wynn Casino, Las Vegas
Renovation of bronze windows, Sheldon Art Museum, Lincoln NE

REQUIREMENTS:
Replication of missing or damaged cast bronze and iron elements including three flights of ornate staircase, vestibule grille, elevator cage details, exterior lintel and filigree.
REQUIREMENTS:
Create large ornate bronze door for private villa consistent with architectural concept and artist's rendering; large cast bronze window grilles.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Turnkey project including design, engineering stamp, casting and fabrication, crating for overseas air shipment, on-site color finishing and installation supervision. Included in the project were a stainless steel inner structure, cast bronze cladding and custom made art glass. Janet Zoble provided all design and drawing services, supervision of and
participation in every stage of casting and fabrication, design of secure
shipping containers and installation supervision in Saudi Arabia.
REQUIREMENTS:
Extract, restore and replace ornate entrance marquee.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Promark supervised the removal of the marquee, provided inventory and photo record of all component parts, designed replacement elements, supervised restoration or replacement of damaged elements, re-designed the roofing structure, supervised paint finishing and participated in the reinstallation process. Design challenges included the addition of an appropriate ceiling soffit structure and re-design of the lighting trace to meet newer codes. Care was taken to assure all modifications were approved by all regional historical societies.
REQUIREMENTS:
Recreate from old architectural drawings the original cast iron moat rail configuration.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Promark's participation in this project included design drawings including 3-D rendering, shop drawings, site measures and installation instructions. Casting, fabrication, assembly, finishing and installation by others.
REQUIREMENTS:
Design and fabrication of all component parts for aluminum lattice buffet canopy.
PROJECT SCOPE:
In keeping with the established architectural design and installation measures, shop drawings defined all component parts. A 3-D computer construction and animation allowed the designer to preview the visual impact of the proposed structure. A method of fabrication was designed which would allow for shipment of components for assembly by others. Promark provided all design and drawing work as well as supervision of fabrication and part inventory. Janet Zoble provided assistance in organizing the received parts in Las Vegas and oriented the on-site installation crew during the initial installation process.
REQUIREMENTS:
Restoration of two large bronze-clad window walls with additional parts added for engineering re-design. Refinishing and installation.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Demolition of existing window wall and inventory of parts by others. Promark became involved with drawings and specifications for extruded bronze pieces to match existing cladding configurations in order to clad new structural members and accommodate thicker glass. Promark also supervised and participated in the patination finishing of all metal, old and new, as well as on-site cutting and fitting of new member cladding and installation.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Take on-site molds of existing elements to create new patterns to revised measures; create exterior filigree patterns in a variety of configurations based on existing small broken sample; create new pattern parts from architectural concept; recreate vestibule grille to new dimensions from existing fragment. Assembly, paint finish and installation by others.
